This 2‑pack of pre-filter fits the Airpura 900 series. It captures larger debris before the particle and carbon stages, helping maintain suction and extend filter life. A full set for the 900 MAX (uses two pre-filters) or two changeouts for the standard 900.

Install steps (5 minutes)

1. Power down and unplug the unit; remove any hose/arm from the top inlet.
2. Unlatch four top latches; lift off the top and foam gasket.
3. Lift out used pre-filter(s) from the center of the particle filter; bag and discard per local rules.
4. Vacuum/wipe the compartment, insert new pre-filter(s), re‑seat the gasket, and relatch.
5. Restore power; run on MAX briefly to confirm airflow.

FAQs

Does this 2‑pack cover my model?
Yes. 900 MAX uses two pre-filter, so the pack covers one complete change.

How often should I replace it?
When you notice a considerable decrease in air suction. In heavy smoke/fine dust, the filter can reach its limit in weeks.

Do I replace the prefilter at the same time?
Recommended. The prefilter sits inside the particle filter and protects it; replace it if visibly loaded or when suction drops.

Is this a HEPA filter?
No. The 900‑series particle stage is MERV‑13 per the manufacturer’s operating instructions.

Any safety tips?
Yes—remove any accessory hose/duct before opening the top, and keep humidity ≤50% for best overall system performance. Do not use in flammable atmospheres.
