Precise players notice small things. A cracked grommet is not a small thing.
Some players let wear build until a string snaps. Others fix the frame while it is still an easy job.
Matched To The Clash 98: This is the bumper and grommet replacement for the Clash 98. It follows that frame's layout, so your stringer fits it during a normal restring.
Frame Edge Protection: Every low ball you scoop and every racket you set down hits the bumper first. The graphite underneath stays clean and solid.
Strings Free From Sharp Edges: Worn grommets let strings rub on the frame. New ones give each string a smooth channel, so the string bed stays consistent longer.
Steady Through A Long Match: You dig out a low pass in the third set and hear the hoop meet the court. The bumper takes it and you keep playing.
A Simple Restring Upgrade: Swap the bumper and grommets the next time your racket goes to the stringer. One visit and the frame is set for more hard hours on court.
Hold your frame to the same standard you hold your game.
