Recoil will find a weak ring. These are not built to slide.

Recoil Lock: A square stainless steel recoil control key in the front and rear rings engages the slot. You break the shot, and the rings stay seated under heavy recoil.

Base Protection: The square recoil key also protects against swaging or peening when the base is a softer material.

Clamp Surface: The Maxima fixed ring band is wider, putting more clamp around the tube so the optic stays put.

Fit Range: They fit Warne bases, Weaver cross slot, and Mil-Spec Picatinny style bases and rails. Heights run low, medium, and high in 1 inch and 30mm.

Secure Fasteners: Four Torx T-15 socket cap screws lock each ring to the scope. The mount attaches permanently to the base or rail.
