Traditions Kentucky Percussion Pistol

Some shooters want a trigger pull and nothing more. Others want to earn the shot the way it was earned two centuries ago.

Most reproduction pistols are made to hang on a wall, and this one is made to be loaded and fired.

Built to Fire: This is a fully functional .50 caliber percussion pistol, not a display piece. You measure the powder, seat the ball, set the cap, and send it.

On the Line: Picture the range going quiet as you cock the sidelock and settle the blade sight on the target. One trigger, one shot, and the smoke tells everyone what you just did.

Simple by Design: A single trigger and fixed sights leave nothing to fiddle with. Your focus stays on the load and the hold.

Period-Correct Details: The blued octagonal barrel, case-colored sidelock, brass ramrod thimbles, and bird's head grip stay true to period styling. It looks like it belongs in another century and shoots in this one.

One-Piece Foundation: The one-piece stock carries the 10-inch barrel and the lock as a single unit. Nothing feels pieced together when you raise it.

Black powder rewards patience, and this pistol is for the shooter who has it.
