An insert is only as good as the surface it is glued to. Most failures start inside the shaft, where no one looks.
Some archers glue and hope, and others prep the shaft first.
A Clean Bond: The tool cleans the inside of the shaft before the insert goes in. Glue belongs on clean carbon, not on dust.
Inserts That Start Right: A prepped shaft gives the point and insert a fair chance. You do not want to learn about a loose one by pulling an arrow and leaving the point in the target.
Built for Standard Carbon: It cleans all regular sized carbon shafts from .246 to .247 inside diameter. One tool covers the whole dozen.
At the Bench: You cut a fresh set of shafts, run the tool through each one, and set the inserts. Every arrow starts the same way.
