The arrow does its work in the last inch. Everything before that was practice.
Some broadheads look good in the package, and some are built for what happens at impact.
The Tip Leads: The trocar tip is the first thing to touch hide. It is replaceable, so a tip that has done its work does not retire the whole head.
Three Blades, Wide Cut: Three .020 inch blades cut a 1 3/16 inch diameter. A bigger hole means more blood on the ground to follow.
At Full Draw: You are in the stand, the buck turns broadside at 25 yards, and you settle the pin behind the shoulder. A three blade head you trust on the end of the arrow is one less thing to think about.
Rebuild, Do Not Replace: The blades and the tip are replaceable. After a pass through, you swap the worn parts and the head goes back in the quiver.
A Shank That Holds: The shank is high strength aluminum alloy, and it screws straight into your insert. Six 100 grain heads come in the pack.
Practice all summer, then decide what you trust on the end of the arrow.
