A dominant buck does not ignore a challenge. Give him one he cannot walk past.
Most decoys just stand in a field, but this one picks a fight.
Ears Back, Attitude Forward: The aggressive posture reads as a threat from across the field. A mature buck sees a young rival on his ground and comes in to settle it.
Set It and Sit Still: You set it at the field edge, climb into the stand, and watch him close the distance with his eyes locked on the decoy. His attention is on the intruder, not on you.
A Rival He Expects to Beat: It mimics a young buck with a big attitude. That is the kind of rival a mature buck expects to push around.
Alone or With a Doe: Run it by itself as a lone challenger. Pair it with a doe decoy and the scene gets harder for him to ignore.
Folds Down Small: It folds to 13 by 20 inches for the walk in. Unfolded, it measures 37 by 48 inches, big enough to be seen.
Put the challenge in front of him and be ready when he answers.
