A hide left raw is a hide that never becomes anything.
Home tanning only works when oil, powder, and prep tools are in one kit.
Deer Hide Capacity: Tans one deer hide or several smaller animals. You finish the animal you brought out of the woods.
Oil And Powder: Pro Tanning Oil and Tanning Powder are in the box. The chemistry is ready when the hide is.
Hide Prep: A hide scraper and specially formulated sandpaper get the skin ready. You work the hide on the table, not guess at the surface.
Safe Handling: Latex gloves are included. You keep the process on the hide, not on your hands.
Step By Step: Complete instructions walk you through the tan. First hide or tenth, the sequence is in the kit.
Tan the hide and keep the animal.
