A guessed range is a guessed shot. In steep country, the guess gets worse.
Distance is only part of the answer, because angle, wind, and arrow arc decide where the shot lands.
Steep Shots Solved: Ballistically calculated ranges for riflemen. Flightpath and trig solutions for archers. Uphill or down, you get the number to shoot, not just the number to the target.
Wind on the Display: It generates a hold point for a 10 mph wind at a 90 degree angle out to 800 yards. Holdovers read in MOA, MIL, inches, or centimeters.
Reads Past the Clutter: Last Target mode reads the farthest target in the laser's path. The brush in front of the animal does not get a vote.
Clear in Any Light: The TOLED display shows bright red numbers and letters with adjustable brightness. You set it for first light or full sun and read it at a glance.
From the Stand: A buck works down the ridge below you. You raise the rangefinder, press once in Bow mode, and get distance and angle. Then you draw.
