A sabot is extra plastic. This is a seal that works with the bore.

You load, you fire, and the base has to hold the gas if the bullet is going to fly.

Bore Seal: A polymer base, not a sabot, seals the bore for energy transfer and accuracy.

Torque Post: A post in the base fits the bottom of the bullet and swells in diameter at ignition for better torque engagement.

On The Load: You start the round, seat it with the ramrod, and the conical shape helps preserve the bullet ogive on the way down the barrel.

Jacket Work: FTX loads use FlexTip technology and an InterLock ring. ELD-X loads use a rugged gilding metal jacket and InterLock ring to help retain bullet weight on impact.

Load Options: 45 caliber 280 grain ELD-X and 50 caliber 290 grain FTX and 340 grain ELD-X, plus a brass ramrod end in ELD-X profile. Approved for use in Colorado.
