Copper Cut: It removes copper fouling from the barrel. You push a wet patch and the metal leaves the grooves.
Residue: Plastic and carbon residue come with it. The bore is not done until those are gone too.
Glove Rule: Use gloves while you clean. The solvent works on fouling. It does not belong on skin.
Oil After: Always neutralize with oil after the bore cleaner. A wet bore without oil is an unfinished job.
Bench Rest: You sit at the bench, run the patches, oil the bore, and put the rifle away ready.
