Pistol Work: Muzzleloading pistols are a principal use. You load, cap, and fire with the grade made for that work.

Cap And Ball: Cap and ball revolvers take the same powder. Cylinder work stays in the FFFg class.

Small Bore: Small bore muzzleloading rifles use it too. One can covers the short guns and the light rifles.

On The Line: You seat the ball, cap the nipple, and break the shot. The powder has to meter the same every time.
