The Herm Sprenger Bemelmans Weymouth Bit features a high, smooth, rounded, forward-angled port that relieves tongue pressure and is shaped to suit the sensitive palate arch with a tapered center. It helps neutralize the tendency to put the tongue over the bit and supports very sensitive rein aids. Ideal for horses with fleshy tongues or those that evade pressure by pulling up or sticking out the tongue. Depending on cheek piece size, it offers either a more gradual (7 cm) or more direct (5 cm) leverage effect with controlled poll pressure.
