Loud calling is a gift to a bird that is already on edge.
When the timber is tight and the ducks are cautious, volume is the first mistake.
Low Volume: Engineered for low volume calling. Soft conditions and dense timber are the point.
Double Reed: Easy blowing double reed mallard design. You work a quiet sequence without fighting the call.
Call-Shy Birds: Built for call-shy ducks. A quieter approach when they will not commit to noise.
In the Timber: You sit the hole in the timber. A soft quack goes out. The birds stay on line instead of flaring off a hard blow.
Light Season: Made for light season hunting when a loud call will spook the fowl.
Call soft enough that the timber keeps the secret.
