More surfy than a surfskate

Speed, stability, carving and pumping have never come together like they do on the Hamboards Burst.

The Burst 32 is a small, snappy board built for fast turns and powerful pumping. At 32 inches long, it sits between a regular skateboard and a longboard. The deck has a curved shape and a tail kick at the back so you can press into your turns. The bottom of every Burst features original artwork by Florida artist Ayden Stoefen.

This is not a typical surfskate. Most surfskates use a swivel truck up front to wiggle. The Burst uses our HST spring trucks instead, so it pumps and carves hard and fast while still feeling stable and in control.

Choose Your HST Truck Configuration

Both setups deliver deep board lean, mounted on riser blocks with Hamboards' signature cast polyurethane wheels. Buttery smooth and wide enough to deflect small rocks before you ride over them.

CARVE HYBRID — 40/20 "Dig and Carve" Only on the Burst 32 and Paskowitz 30, we have the 40/20 set-up with half as much turning on the rear as the front. Designed by Abraham Paskowitz and Hunter Joslin, famous surf coach and Indoboard founder, this is the set up that they love. Throw the tail like you're hitting the lip and carve back down the face. The performance all-rounder for advanced riders who want everything from mellow cruising to aggressive rail-to-rail shredding.

SURF — 55/20 "Pump and Glide" Front-drive balance that prioritizes flow and the center of turning is directly under the rear heel. This is the setup for surfskate enthusiasts. Build speed, make your S-turns, and generate forward thrust — this configuration cannot be cheated, the rider has to keep their center of gravity directly plumb with the deck.
