Meet the Finatics twist on a timeless trout classic — the Egg-Sucking Leech – Red Head. Hand-tied with premium marabou and flash for that signature lifelike pulse, this pattern blends old-school confidence with Cajun-built toughness.

The bright red “egg” head draws strikes in any light, while the flowing black body delivers the perfect silhouette for trout, steelhead, and salmon that are keyed in on leeches or egg drift. It’s one of those flies that just plain gets eaten — deep pools, moving current, or stillwater alike.

At Finatics Fly Company, we tie everything the same way we fish it: built to last, tuned for movement, and ready for abuse. This one’s no different — a proven streamer pattern made for anglers who expect their flies to hold up and stay deadly all season long.

Features:

  • Classic leech profile with red “egg” trigger head

  • Tied with premium marabou and subtle flash for lifelike motion

  • Ideal for trout, steelhead, and salmon

  • Barbed hook for solid hooksets

  • Hand-tied and marsh-tested by Finatics Fly Company
