A factory piston upper is not a bag of parts. It is a finished system you lock onto a lower.

When the gas system lives in the upper, you inherit the rail, the barrel, and the cycle as one unit.

Monolithic Rail: The one-piece upper gives you a continuous Picatinny rail. You mount an optic once and keep the same zero through the session.

Free-Floated Barrel: The 16.1-inch chrome-lined barrel is free-floated. Your support hand does not steer the group.

Piston Cycle: Short-stroke articulating link piston operation keeps carbon out of the lower while you run the rifle.

Factory Upper: This is a complete factory Colt upper receiver assembly. You are not stacking leftover parts on a duty lower.

Iron Backup: Flip-up front and rear sights are on the gun. If the glass fogs, you still have a sight picture.

Seat it on a 5.56 NATO AR lower and go to work.
