The second shot is only useful if the ammunition is already on the gun. Pockets are slow when it counts.
Some hunters dig for shells. Others reach to the stock and reload.
Ammunition Where Your Hand Already Is: The shotgun version holds 5 shells and the rifle version holds 9 cartridges, right on the buttstock. The reload starts from the gun, not from a coat pocket.
In The Field: A bird flushes, you fire, and the gun runs dry. Your hand drops to the stock, finds a shell, and you are back in the hunt.
Heavy Elastic That Holds: It is made from durable, heavyweight elastic that fits snugly on the stock. The holder stays put while you walk through brush and climb into the stand.
On In Seconds: It slides over the stock and installs in seconds on most long guns. Set it up the night before or at the tailgate.
Prepared Looks Like This: Backup ammunition on the stock says you thought past the first shot. It serves while hunting and in defensive use alike.
Carry the reload on the gun, or accept the delay.
