During the rut, a buck follows his nose before anything else. Give him a reason to follow it toward you.
Some hunters wait for a buck to wander past, and others give him something to find.
The Real Signal: This is doe urine with estrus secretions. It triggers the sexual attraction instinct of whitetail bucks, the same instinct that has them on their feet in daylight.
Carefully Collected: The scent is carefully collected from whitetail does. What you put out is what a buck expects to smell.
In The Stand: You put the scent out near your shooting lane, climb up, and settle in. When a buck works in with his nose down, you are already set for the shot.
Two Sizes: The 1 oz. bottle rides in a pocket. The 4 oz. bottle covers more sits and more setups.
A Deliberate Hunt: Using scent is a choice to plan the encounter instead of hoping for it. That is how the rut gets hunted well.
The rut is short, so hunt it on purpose.
