A turkey that cannot hear you will not come.
Close birds want soft sound. Distant birds want volume. The slate has to do both.
On The Thigh: You sit against a tree, lay the walnut pot on your leg, and start with soft purrs and clucks as the bird closes.
Reach Out: Loud, resonant yelps carry when a gobbler is still hanging up.
Matched Hand: A hand-matched hickory striker on textured slate gives you control over tone.
Dress The Face: Condition the slate with the included scouring pad before the first yelp.
Made Here: Handmade in the USA.
Cut the sound the bird already knows.
