Mallards do not come to a polite note when they are already committed elsewhere. Aggressive calling needs a rasp they can hear across the hole.
This double reed call is tuned on the raspy side for aggressive calling, and the carbon finish makes it stand out.
Raspy Tune: Tuned on the raspy side for aggressive calling when the birds need to be pulled, not asked.
Double Reed: Two reeds give you the texture that a single reed will not.
Finish: Carbon finish makes the call stand out in the hand and in the bag.
On the Water: You put the call to your mouth, hit the rasp, and watch the mallards turn toward the spread.
Working Call: A mallard call with a carbon finish, built to work the hole, not sit in the blind bag.
Call them hard, then finish the hunt.
