Avian-X Avian X HDR Jake Decoy

A gobbler that hangs up at sixty yards was never convinced. What he sees in your setup decides whether he commits.

Most decoys fill space in a field, but this one picks a fight the tom thinks he can win.

A Target He Wants: The jake is sized slightly smaller than a real turkey, but just big enough to tempt. A boss tom sees a bird he can push around and comes in to do it.

Posture That Provokes: The quarter strut stance and subdominant feathers read as content but ready to fight. It is the look that pulls a dominant bird across the field.

Two Heads, Two Messages: Choose between a curled, aggressive head and a straight, submissive one. Match the attitude to the birds you are hunting that morning.

From the Setup: You sit against the tree with the jake set in front of you. The tom closes the distance with his eyes on the decoy, not on you.

Change the Story: Both heads are removable. When the birds change their mood, you change the posture and stay in the hunt.

Set him out and let the gobbler make the mistake.
