The loop does not wait for a second hand.
A handheld release should close on the D loop the moment your thumb asks for it.
Loop Capture: Push the thumb barrel and the linkage closes around the D loop. You stay at full draw without fishing for the string.
Tension Control: Set the trigger from 1.75 oz to 50 oz. Match the break to how you hunt.
Grip Fit: Shoot it as a three finger release. Add the fourth finger extension when your hand wants more contact.
Wear Path: Nickel boron on the wear surfaces cuts friction. The cycle stays quiet after the season stacks shots.
Wrist Assist: Pair it when you want extra hold. The aerospace aluminum body stays light either way.
Set the tension and take the shot.
