How it is built

- Upper: PU upper with a double-layer TPU toe bumper. Field hockey shoes take abuse at the toe from sticks, balls, and drag stops. The bumper is there so the toe does not wear through first.

The Furo uses unisex sizing. OSAKA labels every size with a men's number and a women's number. The size shown on our product page is the men's number. The women's equivalent is 1.5 sizes larger. Our SKUs show both, for example M3.5/W5.
- Men's 3.5 is women's 5
- Men's 5.5 is women's 7
- Men's 6.5 is women's 8
- Men's 7 is women's 8.5
- Men's 9.5 is women's 11
So a player who wears a women's 8 in everyday sneakers should select 6.5 on the Furo page. Picking 8 will put her in a women's 9.5. That mistake is the most common one with unisex hockey shoes.
OSAKA's dealers describe the Furo as true to size. The spandex bootie also gives a little, so a snug feel at first is normal. If a player sits between sizes and wears thick hockey socks or a shin guard sock over the ankle, the half size up is the safer call.
