Regulation Sizes First
High school (NFHS): the standard competition mat is 38' x 38' with a 28-foot minimum circle. Our 38' x 38' NFHS regulation mat is tournament ready as configured.
College (NCAA): 42' x 42' with a 32-foot circle. The 42' x 42' college regulation mat meets collegiate tournament requirements.
Home and club training: a 10' x 10' home wrestling mat fits a garage or basement drilling space. Tatami-surface options cover BJJ and other martial arts in the same footprint.
What Drives Custom Mat Pricing
Size: square footage is the biggest cost factor. A 42' x 42' mat carries roughly 20 percent more material than a 38' x 38'.
Thickness: competition mats run thicker foam than practice mats. Thicker costs more and protects more.
Sections: mats ship in sections that tape together. More sections ease handling and storage but add seams.
